It's A Beautiful Day

Good evening bloggers!

For starters I'm enjoying a nice cup of Egg Nog while writing to you all. What's the holiday season without a little cheer right?
Anyway, Moving on.

I'm in a good mood tonight. I'm usually in a good mood when I sit down to write this blog. So really there isn't much new there. But especially tonight. Long story short, I got some good health news and I'm feeling great. I've been running a lot, enjoying the fresh air. Seeing a lot of nature etc.

During my run this afternoon I came up on a young doe. She stood maybe 3 to 4 feet high. She was just standing there eating and watching me as I ran up the hill. I got maybe 10 feet from her. I just waved and said hi lol. And she wasn't afraid in the least bit. She just stood there watching me and chewing away at her dinner. It was the sweetest thing. I saw a total of three deer on my run today.

What made this run and seeing this deer even better was the song that just happened to be playing on my radio as I was running. This is such an amazing song and I really think you guys would enjoy it. So I'm going to share it with you all. Please take the time to listen below. It's worth it I promise.

This song is all about making a beautiful day. You are in control of your day. You are in control of your life! You are in control of your destiny! Nothing can stop you from having your beautiful day.

I don't think it's possible to hear this song and not feel blessed and hopeful. To not feel happy. I hope you enjoyed it.

So Samantha and I have a Christmas tradition. Every year we buy a new ornament for our Christmas tree. Something that has made an impression on our year. We do this so our tree will tell a story. This year we were having a hard time figuring out what ornament to get. When finally it hit me. Annie! Annie is our little black kitty. My little heart. She's the little kitty we lost this year to a tumor.. :( She truly was the best cat I've ever had. And I miss her everyday.

So… Annie! she deserves a spot on our tree. For this year and every year to come.
She's perfect. Or should I say Purrrrrrr-Fect! :) Man I miss her. I hope she's happy where ever she is. And I hope she knows how truly missed and loved she is.

Not to end on a more up-beat note.
What is not perfect however is this mug I found at a store today lol. Take a look.
I mean..... Who designed this? You put your mouth right where his little frosty the snowman balls would be!!! Or if you turn it around, you can drink from his snowman ass crack?? LOL

Just seems odd. :) But super funny.

Anyway, I will leave you with this super festive mug. Thank you all for reading once again. Have a great night.
