Day 118 Of Coronavirus Shutdown

We are deep into the Coronavirus here in America. And instead of climbing out of the dark hole we currently find ourselves in, we continue to dig deeper. Why you ask? Because many Americans are not taking this ((GLOBAL PANDEMIC)) seriously. It is truly mind blowing.

I found this piece of news via NPR yesterday and I just couldn't believe what I was reading. I'm completely dumbfounded by what is going on across the country as I'm sure many of you will be.

Florida reported 15,299 new Coronavirus cases on Sunday, marking the largest single day increase of any state since the start of this pandemic. Let me say that again in case you missed it. ((Florida reported the largest single day increase in Coronavirus cases of ANY STATE since the START of this pandemic!)) wow.....

Those numbers exceed New York's peak of more than 12,200 new cases in one day back in April, when it was the epicenter of the outbreak. This surge in Florida brings the total number of cases in the state to 269,811. They have recorded 4,242 total deaths, with 45 of those new as of Sunday. Now yes these numbers I'm showing you right now are for the state of Florida. But this shit is happening all over the country. The outbreak is real and it is deadly. What part of that are people not getting? What part are people not understanding? Come on America! It's time to get smart. It was time to get smart months ago.

And once again, we still have too many people who are not taking this seriously. Too many people who refuse to wear a simple mask. Too many people who clearly don't give a shit about their fellow human being. And that makes 2020 a very sad year for the human race in my opinion.

I'm trying to do my part and I encourage you all to do the same. Not only by staying home whenever possible, wearing a mask when you do go out and also practicing social distancing. But also by holding other people accountable. You don't necessarily need to confront people who are not wearing a mask. (Honestly I don't see that going very well considering the ones who are refusing to wear a mask seem to be completely unhinged). But by reporting the violations. Where I live we have a mask order in place. And all businesses are required to have all employees and customers wear a mask while indoors. However I among many other people have noticed that there are more and more people that are not wearing masks in these businesses. And business staff isn't enforcing the order. So I report it. We have a Coronavirus health page in my state where you can report violations straight to the governors office. As well as reporting to the businesses corporate office and also to your local department of health. Don't let people get away with violating the restrictions that have been put in place to help fight Coronavirus. We are not in a place in our country where we can afford to be dicking around. And we're especially not in a place in our country where we can afford to be dicking around without a mask! 

So PLEASE... Do your part.
