Hidden Valley Animal Adventure is what you're seeing out my window today.
My wife found this amazing little day trip. Hidden valley animal adventure located in Varysburh, NY. We packed up and headed out for another amazing experience.
This place is a petting zoo and also an animal adventure where you can drive through the "wilds" and gte up close and personal with all the different animals you normally wouldn't. You can purchase feed buckets and give them some snacks along the way.
There were many different animals along the drive. On their site they say that they have over 350 animals and 35 different species. So, clearly there are too many for me to list. So instead, here are a few pictures.
There is just something amazing about being this close to animals this size! I never would have thought I would be going along and suddenly a Bison head is in my truck lol.
This Elk was truly amazing as well. So big and so beautiful. I could not believe the antlers on this guy. Pictures and words cannot do these creatures justice.
Then of course, we had to finish off the day with some of the cute little animals at the petting zoo. Little ponies, goats, lamas, and donkeys.
We were given little cups of carrots to pass around. The little goats were like puppies lol. That's really the only way I know to describe them. They were like little dogs enjoying the people and the snacks. I always feel bad for the animals that are a little bigger and forgotten about by all the kids there. Speaking of the donkeys in particular. So I made sure to give them some extra pats and carrots.
All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I'm so thankful and grateful to my wife for always being the one to find cool adventures like this for our family. I would highly recommend!
