Hey bloggers. It's been a few days since my last post. I just wanted to check in. I've had a lot going on lately and just haven't had the time to post. And to be honest, I just haven't been in the mood to write anything.
However today is different. Today we update! lol
Nothing too exciting has happened over the past few days. And I'm okay with that. Sometimes quiet weeks are the best. Snow however has been the story lately in the Rochester area. Believe it or not we have already seen double the amount of snow we usually see at this time of year. Today it's been snowing off an on do to all the Lake Effect snow.
When I was driving for work I kept getting stopped on the road because of traffic being so backed up. The snow was coming down hard!
This picture doesn't do it justice. When you looked out in front of you, after about 100ft it was almost whiteout. I'm talking about quarter sized flakes at times.
This is another look from a couple days ago. I was running 4 miles with my buddy who is actually still in Indiana. We make running phone calls. I got down by the lake and you can see the amount of snow. That was an interesting run as the precipitation kept changing from ice pellets to snow. And let me tell you, those ice pellets hurt.
I did take some time today to pull off into a little park and take in some nature. Everyone has their thing I think that gives them such a sense of peace. mine is the snow. I absolutely love it. Check out this video I took below.
Now I want to talk about something else real quick.
With Christmas coming up, a few people have been asking me "What do you want for Christmas?". And my response is always the same. I tell them "There isn't anything I want for or need for, But there is something you could do that I would be very thankful for".
That something, is super simple.
What I want to encourage you all to do this year, is to give. Not to me, I'm perfectly fine. I want you to give to the animal shelter or any other charity you feel passionate about. For me, it's the animal shelter. I would like you to give to the little fur babies that don't have a home to sleep in. Or a family to accept love and head pats from. A lot of these animal shelters are non profit shelters. They work on donation etc.
They have amazon wish lists to make donating easy. I just purchased a large pet bed for the shelter last night. I tell you this not to be a "Humble bragger". I don't give a shit about that. I tell you this so you know that I'm not just trying to get you all to do it. I did it myself and I plan on doing more this week. I tell you this so you know it makes a difference.

I just think this is better than buying someone a gift that they don't need. These organizations need help. These animals need blankets, food, toys, beds, etc. So this year I ask that you help these little dudes instead. Even if you've given in that past, Please give again!
Comment if you have any questions. I would be glad to help. As always, I thank you for stopping by. Please share this with others so we can get the most for these animals as we can!
Thank you for reading.
