Everyday for the past 8 days has had a couple of repeating events. Coffee in the morning, Cuomo giving his Corona - Virus briefing usually around noon. And the clown in the white house giving his briefing later that afternoon / evening. It is so hard sitting and listening to what cheet-o has to say.
Every time I hear him speak
Thank God we have Cuomo here in NY state taking care of business for those of us that live here. I as well as most of the NYS population cannot speak enough good about how Cuomo has handled things during this pandemic.
So I say, Thank you sir, keep doing what you do.
As for day 8 of the Coronavirus shutdown. Well, Music has been the theme today. Music and running.
My record player has always been a big part of my life. I've had this thing for at least 15 years. Got it as a Christmas present when I was a kid from my mom. And I've loved it ever since.
There are so many good albums to choose from. Albums from the 1930s all the way to current years. Queen, Jack Johnson, Seth Mcfarlane, Buddy Clark, Dorothy, Jazz albums, Michael Buble, and so on. There is nothing like setting that needle in place and listening to the music with a slight crackle. Talk about warming your home with sound.
I also got in another run with my buddy Mark who is 600 miles away in Indiana. We are both training for that virtual Indy Mini Half Marathon in may. I locked in another 7 miles this afternoon. Which brings me up to a total of 124 miles on the year. And we're only in March! I'll take it.

Staying active through all of this is very important! So if you are well enough to get outside in nature and breath in that fresh air, then I encourage you to do so.
That's it for today bloggers. Thank you for stopping by. Stay well and stay healthy!
