I have had some enjoyment spreading some of the good news that I have been able to find during this Coronavirus pandemic. It's hard sometimes to sift through everything out there. However once you fine something positive in light of things, it makes it worth it.
One of those good news things is this.
Take a look below.
Gov, Andrew Cuomo tweeted this the other day. Landmarks across the state and now across the country, are lighting up blue! This is in honor of all the healthcare workers and all essential personnel on the front lines in battle against the Coronavirus.
This is really cool to me. I love this idea and I love that so many places are participating.
Take a look at Niagara Falls below. It's beautiful.
My old home state is also participating in the #LightItBlue campaign. You can see this tweet from downtown Indy and also from The Indianapolis Motor Speedway below.
A lot of states are lighting up certain buildings and or stadiums blue. However Indianapolis went above and beyond. Lighting up as many buildings as they could along with lighting up hearts! This photo is pretty powerful in reminding us once again that we are all in this together.
I too wanted to do my part in showing all the essential personnel and healthcare workers my support.
So I replaced all my window bulbs with blue bulbs. It's a small gesture but its a powerful one.
Stay well and stay healthy.
I love your post and it is one of the great things that we do to show support around the state. When our country gets hit hard no matter what our people are as there to support each and everyone of us. Thank You goes out to the people the risk their own to help others
