Day 26 Of Coronavirus Shutdown

We are going to kick off the start of next week with a major wind storm.

We are at day 26 of the Coronavirus shutdown and counting.

Another wind storm is on the way here in the Rochester, NY area. Much of the Northeast is about to get hit hard. The National Weather Service issued a High Wind Warning yesterday. Two and a half days ahead of this storm. That's kind of a big deal. That's them telling us that this could be huge!

This is all part of this winter storm wind machine according to the weather channel. (These maps also courtesy of the weather channel). You can see projections of Monday around 4pm that areas up around Rochester, and Buffalo could reach wind gusts of 75mph or more. This could be very dangerous. We're talking about tropical storm force winds here.

I'm hoping as I do with every wind storm threat that all the trees stay planted in the ground lol. That is not something any of us want and or need to deal with right now. Monday will be a basement day for sure.

It is also Easter Sunday everyone! I'm sure you already knew that. This Easter things are going to be a little different for those who will be celebrating. Instead of going to a service people will now need to stream them at home using Zoom, or Skype, etc. Video calls will also be needed to bring families together. 

There have already been a lot of live Easter service streams on sites such as You-Tube. You can watch them live or you can go back and watch them later.

After you have your streaming service, you can settle in with a little football as well. The NFL posted this earlier this morning.

That's right. They will actually be airing Super Bowl XLII later this afternoon on FOX. 3pm ET. I love that the NFL is doing this. Why not have a little Superbowl on Easter right? I will definitely be tuning in.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. These are weird times we're all living in. But we're doing our best to get through it.
