Hello, hello.
Just a quick post today. We are on day 43 of the shutdown due to Coronavirus. I was able to get out and walk Roo today as the temperatures were finally feeling like spring. We had a high in the middle to upper 60s for the first time this year! Not only did it feel like spring finally but it was looking like spring. Take a look at these beautiful cherry blossoms below.
Some beautiful color in this current gloomy time. We have to look for the color, the light, and the peace around us. It's there. It's just buried under all the negative news in the media.
I also just wanted to share this image that Gov, Andrew Cuomo shared in today's Coronavirus news briefing.
These are all masks that have been sent to NYS from around the country. Here is what Gov, Cuomo had to say below.
"Thousands of masks have been sent to New York from around the country — made with love.
This is a self-portrait of the goodness of Americans.
Thank you.
(And for those wondering, yes, we will find good homes for the masks.)".

Now for a quick recap as to where we currently stand with the Coroncvirus and the shutdown. Some good news is that hospitals in upstate New York, including in Monroe County, can resume elective surgeries as of Wednesday, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced.
Gov, Cuomo, said he expects to sign an executive order allowing hospitals to resume elective surgeries as long as there is no significant risk of a coronavirus surge.
He also said that New York is currently doing 30,000 tests each day, which is more than some countries. However New York reported 330 new Covid-19 deaths today. Talking about that new deaths Gov, Cuomo said “The decline has been slow at best and still disgustingly high,”
We are also waiting to see what businesses can try to open up soon. It is currently a big waiting game full of question. I imagine that we will have a better idea as we get closer to that March 15th date. Also after they open up manufacturing and construction again and see how the infection rate reacts.
But until then, we wait.
I want to thank you all again for reading. Stay well and stay healthy.
(Keep practicing social distancing)
