Day 48 Of The Coronavirus Shutdown

We are on day 48 of the Coronavirus shutdown. Today Gov, Andrew Cuomo, actually came to Rochester, NY to give his press briefing. Talking about the latest numbers, hospitalizations, infection rates etc. And trying to give an idea as to when regions can start to open up again.

The NYS pause is supposed to expire on May 15th. Regions are expected to put together plans to bring to the Gov, to show how they will be able to open up their businesses again while maintaining the guidelines for social distancing. Because even once places start to open up again it will not be "Life as usual". We will still need to practice social distancing and more than likely wear masks when in public places. Even though we know that May 15th is the NYS pause expiration date, we still do not know how things will look moving forward.

Now for a bit of positive news. A small business in Albany, NY started making 3D printed masks for the public. Carter and King use their two 3D printers to make the masks. The mask fits comfortably over a person's nose and mouth and come with a filter. They only take about two hours to make. And the best news?! They're making these masks and only asking people for a donation, money they put back into buying more mask making material.

“People were scared,” Carter said. “And I thought, well, the least we could do is try to help.”

Gov, Andrew Cuomo, actually got word of this awesome business and showed up. You can see the whole story at the link below.

And lastly I leave you with this message below.
