Hello bloggers. So much has been going on in the past few days. The past few weeks really. A lot of negative in the world. A lot of violence in the world also. In my last post I talked about all the protests in the Rochester, NY area. And all the violence. Today I want to try and get back to some good news. Because it isn't all bad out there in the world. I think we should all remember that. We should also talk about the good that is going on. So lets do that today. Lets get started.
This is Iyanla Vanzant. She is an American inspirational speaker, lawyer, New Thought spiritual teacher, author, life coach, and television personality. She did an interview with The Today Show this morning and it was amazing! And I wanted to share it with you all this afternoon. So please click the link below and watch it.
I wanted to share another good news story from this week. I wrote about all the protesting last week on this blog. Showing a lot of the looters, Burning cars, etc. Today I want to remind people that the protests themselves are not bad, The people protesting are good people. They are protesting for what they believe in and they are protesting in a very powerful way. Please watch this video below and see what I'm talking about. The looting and burning is trying to take away from the real message. The peaceful protesters are different from the looters. Don't bunch them together.
Protesters sang “Lean On Me” during a demonstration Wednesday evening in Washington, D.C. Many videos were posted on social media showing crowds of demonstrators singing the Bill Withers song while swaying and waving phones with illuminated flashlights in the air.
The peaceful demonstration took place about two blocks from the White House. These are the same type of peaceful protesters that Donald Trump tear gassed and flashed bombed away from a church two days ago so he could take a Photo-op in front of. Our current president (Donald Trump) is a complete piece of shit. And I honestly don't care if that offends anyone.
This video of peaceful protesters give me hope. Hope for change! Hope for equality! Hope for peace for all people rearguard-less of color. I stand with the protesters. I stand with the message they are sending. And I pray we can make a difference in this country!
