131 Days Of Coronavirus Shutdown

Hello bloggers.

We hit a milestone the other day in America, and it wasn't a good one. Coronavirus just keeps setting records.

The United States on Thursday passed the grim milestone of 4 million confirmed coronavirus infections. The rapid spread of the virus this summer is striking. Taking just 15 days to go from 3 million confirmed cases to 4 million. By comparison, the increase from 1 million cases to 2 million spanned 45 days from April 28th to June 11th, and the leap to 3 million then took 27 days.
This is truly unbelievable, scary, and real.

The U.S. has the most coronavirus cases in the world, followed by Brazil and India.

Positivity rates have reached alarming levels in numerous states, and hospitalizations are soaring.
Florida reported 173 deaths on Thursday. Its highest single day count of new deaths. They also reported more than 10,200 new coronavirus cases. In all, Covid-19 has claimed the lives of well over 144,368 people in the U.S. since the coronavirus pandemic broke out, according to NBC News data.
This virus is real people. It is real and it isn't going away by wishful thinking or because we're bored with it. We have to start taking it seriously, and we have to start acting appropriately.

The things you can do as an individual to help slow the spread of Coronavirus are SUPER SIMPLE!

*Wash your hands often and correctly

*Keep social distancing / avoiding close contact

*Wear a face mask

*Stay home (Especially) if you're sick

It's not all doom and gloom on this post today. I want to leave you all with something that makes me smile. Steve Martin is blowing me away with his truly amazing Banjo playing. And it couldn't come at a better time. I absolutely love watching him play. And so I wanted to leave you all with this video. Let it bring you a bit of joy in the chaos of 2020.

Thank you all for reading. Please stay safe and please WEAR A MASK!
