It is officially day 114 of my Coronavirus shutdown. Still counting.
It has been a little while since my last update. I have just been trying to relax a little bit and distance myself from the constant negativity in the country right now. As the theme has been all year, (A lot has been going on).
So a drink by the fire helps lol.
A drink and a good book. A good book can take you to another place if only for a little while. Allow you to pretend that everything is okay for just a bit.
With that said however, we must NOT completely forget about what is going on or put permanent blinders on the situation around us.
It has been interesting. My place of work was originally going to be in what was phase four of re-opening. However now my place of work is in a special category of its own. We are not in any phase and have no idea when we will be allowed to re-open. It is all at the governors desecration. Could be Monday, could be next month. Could be next year!? No one knows.
The problem that people like me are about to face is a financial one. All of us who have been out of work have been collecting unemployment. And unemployment has been giving everyone an extra $600 a week to help get by. However that extra $600 runs out at the end of the month. So everyone who will still be out of work due to Coronavirus will be in a sticky situation. So hopefully our state government comes up with something to help everyone that will still be out of work.

Orange dip shit trump continues to press for a broader reopening. The U.S. set another record for new coronavirus cases yesterday, with more than 59,400 infections announced, according to a New York Times database. It was the fifth national record in nine days. The previous record, 56,567, was reported on Friday.
On Thursday, cases were decreasing in only two states Vermont and New Hampshire. In 14 states and territories, the number of cases was mostly the same. And in the rest of the country new cases were on the rise. But orange dip shit just keeps denying there is a problem and still refuses to wear a mask. So much is wrong with this guy. So much is wrong with America right now. I just wish more people were taking this issue seriously.
One thing that is so EASY everyone CAN DO IT!!!!! Is to just ((Wear)) a freaking (MASK). It truly is that simple. Keep up with the social distancing. Be smart and wear a mask. If you don't want to take it from me. Maybe take it from Bill Nye.
