Day 115 Of Coronavirus Shutdown

I am on day 115 of my Coronavirus shutdown. 115 days of socially distancing, wearing a mask, and staying home as much as possible. I do these things not only to protect myself and my family. But also to protect YOU! Like we say in NYS "I wear a mask to protect you, You wear a mask to protect me". It's just that simple.

I'm 115 days in and yet America is still having debates on masks. There are still many groups of people out there that are fighting the government on wearing masks and fighting the government on social distancing. Making bullshit arguments as to why people shouldn't be doing these things. It is truly disgusting and heart breaking to me. The fact that we are still having this debate about wearing masks blows my mind! It should be commonsense at this point. We don't need to tell people to wear oven mitts to take a dish out of the oven. It just commonsense for their safety. Well, so is wearing a mask.

Take a look at this video below and then tell me you don't want to walk right out into the ocean. These people are truly insane.

One thing I overhear people saying to each other quite a lot actually is this. "Well have you actually seen anyone with the virus? Do you personally know anyone who has had it? I don't think it's as bad as everyone is making it out to be". (((REALLY???))) Wow.. Well, let me remind everyone that my wife is a nurse. I have seen people who have had the coronavirus and people who are still fighting the coronavirus first hand. The numbers are everywhere and the numbers don't lie. Open a news paper, turn on the TV. Or better yet, JUST OPEN YOUR FREAKING EYES!!! See what is going on around you. All these numbers you see floating around on a daily basis of people dying are not just numbers. They are real people, real families, real humans hurting because of this horrible virus. And everyone who refuses to wear a mask, everyone who refuses to social distance, all those people have blood on their hands in my opinion.

Also remember that your little neck of the woods isn't safe from the Coronavirus. Just because you live in a small town doesn't mean you're safe from it. This virus doesn't care if you're in a big time city or a "Blink and you'll miss it town". It's everywhere. It's just worse in bigger cities. So you have absolutely NO excuse to not be wearing a mask! I mean for shits sake people..... Damn.... It's easy!

"Tom Hanks, who recovered from coronavirus earlier this year, has said he does not have ‘much respect’ for people who do not wear face masks in public during the pandemic. Speaking about ways to stop the spread of the virus, Hanks said: 'At the very least, three tiny things are in everybody's wheelhouse, if you choose to do them. Wear a mask, wash your hands, social distance"

WEAR A MASK. SOCIAL DISTANCE. SAVE LIVES! It's truly that simple.
