What An Amazing Wedding

Good morning bloggers.

We made it back from the wedding in Long Island. And the wedding itself was an absolute blast. It is about a 5 to 6 hour drive to Long Island from Rochester. However the drive there was closer to 7 or 7 and a half do to traffic. I'm sure most of you can assume that the traffic is much much worse the closer you get to NYC. And well, you have to go through NYC to get to Long Island. So the last 60 miles of our drive took us a good 2 hours! I mean, Think about that for a second. The last 60 miles of our drive, took over 2 hours. That's how much traffic there was.

My wife insisted on doing the driving. She would rather drive than ride as a passenger. I'm the opposite so it works out perfect. She did an amazing job. She dealt with the hustle and bustle of the city with great composure.

Driving aside, there is much more to talk about. So lets start with our table tag.
This was by far the most fancy event I've ever been too. Right off the bat we walked in and took our table tags to see where we were going to be sitting. The image above is something I never thought I'd see in print lol. Mr. and Mrs. Justin New. How crazy is that?! Crazy cool. This guy has a wife! For many years now lol.
The venue for the wedding was this amazing indoor tropical area. They had this huge koi pond right in the middle of the room. With a bridge that the bride and groom as well as everyone else in the wedding got to walk over. It honestly was amazing.

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm not a fancy person haha. I told my wife when we walked in that I felt like I didn't belong there and that I felt like a party crasher and someone was gonna throw me out soon lol. Of course that didn't happen. Also I got distracted by this massive gold fish in the pond! I'm a fishermen at heart, so this guy definitely caught my attention.
You can see all the greenery and white lights near the arch where the marriage actually took place.

The reception area was also truly beautiful. The ceiling with lights and lots of round tables with amazing center pieces. The music was amazing and the dance floor was a blast.
But to me I have to say that the most beautiful part of the wedding had to be my wife. And that I got to share such a fun night celebrating our friends new beginning with the one I love. We are both so happy for Casey and Jackie and this new chapter in their lives. They're truly great together and we are so happy to have been a part of their big day.

Unfortunately we didn't get a picture of the bride and groom at their wedding. Anyone who goes to a wedding should understand that the bride and groom as usually so busy and overwhelmed making their rounds to everyone there that catching even just a brief moment with them is truly difficult. So I do apologize about that. But know that they are loved and we are happy for them. They are off on their honeymoon now. And we wish them the best!

I hope you all have a great day. Thank you for stopping by and reading this blog. I appreciate it. Stay well and I will be back again soon.
