Sharing That Beautiful Snow!

Good afternoon bloggers.

We finally got some snow! It's the middle of January and we haven't had much snowfall this season. Winter is truly taking it's time showing up. Maybe deciding if it's going to show up at all this year.

It wasn't much snowfall this time around but at this point I'll take whatever we can get. It was a light snow through out much of the day yesterday. Lots of wind. However by last night the snow showers picked up a bit. Take a look at this video I took below.

Pretty big snowflakes. I love watching the snow fall in the night. It is calm and peaceful. All day yesterday it was windy, cold and snowy. Perfect reading weather. So I kicked on the heater in the sun room and read by the snow. You can see Rita in the image below also enjoying the view.

We ended up with 4.75" inches of snowfall as of this morning in the Rochester, NY area. Not much but it's something. We are in a Winter Weather Advisory until 4:am tomorrow morning (Monday). We're looking to pick up maybe another 1" to 3" inches of snow today as well as tonight.

Once again, I will take it lol. We're also expected to see winds today into tonight gusting to 35 + MPH. So blowing and drifting snow is another reason for this Winter Weather Advisory.

All in all, I'm enjoying the hot cups of coffee, and good reads on this snowy weekend. And just wanted to share our snowfall with you all. Now it's time to get ready for the AFC and NFC championships. NFL Playoffs baby! So I will check back with you all again soon.

As always I thank you for stopping by. Stay Happy and Well!
