Gov, Andrew Cuomo! This guy has been a phenomenal leader and voice of truth and reason through all of this. I cannot say enough good about him when it comes to his handling of the Coronavirus outbreak here in NY. I wanted to start this post today by sharing this video with you all.
We are going to fight every way we can to save every life that we can.
That’s what it means to be an American and that’s what it means to be a New Yorker. pic.twitter.com/1cREWGx9t9

Now. We are on day 14 of the Coronavirus shut down. I have to say that one of the coolest things during this Coronavirus shut down has been seeing some of the talk show hosts do their shows from home. Seeing the production done completely in the raw is very interesting. But very fun at the same time. As I said in one of my other posts when I discovered that Kelly and Ryan were doing their show live from home via Skype. It humanizes the stars and the show. Also as Jimmy Fallon said, It feels they have been "Promoted" from TV talk show stars to YouTube stars lol. And my wife and I absolutely love it.
You can see my wife and I watching the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon home edition last night. Who would've thought that this is what we would be doing in 2020? lol
Jimmy Fallon has been doing The Tonight Show from home after shutting down studio production due to coronavirus concerns. He did his first episode of The Tonight Show At Home Edition on Tuesday with the help of wife Nancy, and two little daughters.
Jimmy has been encouraging viewers to donate to food bank network Feeding America. His daughter has contributed handmade graphics for the show which just adds to the home made charm. While his wife is behind the camera and providing a laugh track for Jimmy's monologue.
My wife and I have been making the most of the quarantine together. :) And these home made shows have helped bring joy to many homes.
Another really cool thing that people are doing during this pandemic to help spread some joy and give some comfort to children is something called a Bear Hunt! Basically teddy bears are appearing everywhere along streets made empty by coronavirus. And they're fair game for bored kids turned hunters.
People are putting stuffed animals in windows around the world in global "Teddy Bear Hunts" for children. Uniting neighborhoods and giving children an exciting, social-distancing-safe scavenger hunt activity during this coronavirus lockdown.
The hunts are inspired by Michael Rosen’s 1989 children’s book "We’re Going on a Bear Hunt". Playdates might be on hold, but seeking out the stuffed animals is the new activity that is really helping get kids outside and really taking their minds off of this difficult time.
So of course we had to do our part. These are two bears that my mother made for my wife and I. A Detroit Red Wings bear and an Anatomical Heart Nurses bear. Perching out in the front window ready for the bear hunt! :)
I also wanted to end this post with a meme I found that struck me as pretty funny lol.
Than you all again for reading. Please continue to practice your social distancing. Stay well, stay happy and stay healthy!
