Day 2 Of Coronavirus Shut Down

Hey hey everyone! This is now day 2 of my Corona work shut down. My wife found GOLD! Lol yes she found the un-find-able. ((TOILET PAPER))
I still can't wrap my mind around why everyone is hording this stuff. My wife and I are not hording this. We have extra now and if any of our friends need some they are more than welcome to have it. Sharing is caring. And especially in situations like what we're all going through, we all need to look out for our fellow human.

For day 2 my wife wanted to have a fire in the back yard. So we did just that :)
It was cool and crisp. Felt like a Fall evening even though its March 19th. But that's how it should feel when you have a bon fire.
We took advantage of the situation and made dinner over the open fire. Chicken legs in the little fill bundle you see there. And turkey burgers with mashed potatoes.

Ever the fur babies got in on the fun.
Roo enjoying some potatoes.

I got out and did some fishing again. (Still no catch)

So my buddy Mark and I were both training for half marathons only to find out last week that mine had been canceled and his was moved to a virtual run event. A virtual run for those of you that don't know, is a run that you sign up for, they send you your bib and medal, you run the race in the given time frame and then submit your time to the race officials. You can run the race anywhere you want. You just map out the distance and log the miles.

His race that I'm talking about is actually the Indy Mini. Instead of canceling they switched it to a virtual run. Which I think is a great idea! It means I can run it also! So we both signed up for it and have plans to run the virtual half together but 600 miles apart! What better way to be part of social distancing lol.

So to finish my day I logged another 6 miles to my running bank. And that is day 2!

Until next time bloggers. Take care. Stay well and stay healthy.
