We are on day 96 of the Coronavirus shutdown.
I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy. Wearing your masks and practicing social distancing. Doing your part to protect others. I'm writing to you all today to inform you of an event happening this evening.
Tonight at 8:00PM ET/PT CBS presents United We Sing: A Grammy Tribute To The Unsung Heroes. Hosted by Harry Connick Jr. and Georgia Connick, this special will see father and daughter driving from Connecticut to New Orleans in an RV showcasing some of America’s unsung heroes during the COVID-19 pandemic. The special will also feature musical performances and appearances from celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Brad Pitt and Queen Latifah.
The two-hour star-studded event celebrating the essential workers across America will benefit MusiCares' COVID-19 Relief Fund as well as No Kid Hungry and the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music in New Orleans. So be sure to check it out!
I want to again thank all of our essential workers. Thank you all for everything you have done and continue to do through out this pandemic. You continue to do your jobs and we will continue to do ours. Lets all keep each other safe by wearing our masks and practicing social distancing.
